These candy loaded candy cane sleighs will not only make great gifts for your kids’ friend, but will probably make you the most popular mom on the block {with the kids, at least, the parents may hate you when their kids are climbing up the drapes-ha!}.
You’ll need:
- 10 miniature candy bars {for each sleigh you make}
- 2 candy canes
- 1 full size KitKat
- Glue {or double sided tape}
- Wrapping ribbon
- Wrapping bow
Directions:
- Glue the candy canes onto the bottom of the Kitkat. This will be the base of your sleigh.
- Stack the candy bars into a pyramid formation on top of the KitKat, gluing them down as you go. There should be 4 miniature candy bars on the bottom, then 3, then 2, then 1.
- Wrap the ribbon around the sleigh, tying it on the bottom {as if you were wrapping ribbon around a gift}.
- Put the bow on top. {I glued mine down, just to make sure it stayed.}

I made these last year for about 30 Seniors in our club it took a lot of time and a little expensive for the candy ,but it sure was worth the effort when they got them oh how they loved them and were so excited. I was hoping to find another kind of wow gift something seniors can eat as we have a lot of stuff we really don’t want or need,but everyone can enjoy food.Any suggestion would be helpful Thanks the sleds were wonderful

Made these for my college classmates (I am the Mom of the group at 40 and they are traditional 18 – 20 year olds. I topped mine with a mini bow and tucked a Christmas Hershey’s kiss into the bow just to make they a little more me 🙂 They weren’t hard but depending on how many you make and where you get your goodies, could be expensive.
