I’ll be making these for The Girl Who Thinks She’s a Bird’s graduation party and so I thought I would do a trial run so I’d know how they turn out {and maybe so I could eat a whole batch, but who’s counting?}. They were even cuter than I imagined and way easier too! This is a great one to have kids help with. And I’m sure it will make any graduation party look totally festive.
Ingredients
3 Airheads Extremes Rainbow Sour Belts strips or other candy belts {cut in color strips and then cut in thirds}
25 small Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, unwrapped
25 thin chocolate squares
25 mini M&Ms
25 lollipop sticks
a few chocolate chips for melting
Directions
Place all chocolate with the exception of the melting chocolate in the fridge to chill for a bit before handling. Cut Airheads into single color strips and then cut them into desired tassel lengths {you should be able to get 3, 2-inch tassels per color belt strip, but if you’d like them longer, cut 2 and discard the extra right into your mouth!}.
Place a large drop of melted gluing substances of choice on the bottom of each peanut butter cup. Place a chocolate square on the frosting, centering each around the peanut butter cup.
Place a small drop of melted chocolate or frosting in the center of each square, and while the frosting is soft, stick each tassel on, and place a mini M&M on top.
Continue for each pop.
Allow to sit until they harden.
