It’s thinning out! This past week I cracked open a jar of carrots, some salsa and a strawberry jam.

I may not have any flowers to sell but there is a lady in the next town over that does and she has THE MOST beautiful bouquets! And at $5 each they are hard to resist. What a deal.

Goals already accomplished 2023:
Go On A Solo Adventure. Done
A solo adventure to Fair Isle. I don’t think I could have picked a more unique, isolated and cozy spot to spend a few weeks. I’m already dreaming of going back.
Take An Adult Education Class Done
The Girl and I took a 3 day British Baking Classics course at King Arthur Flour in Norwich, Vermont and had a good time.
Set Aside 200 Items For A Yard Sale DONE!
The yard sale was a great success! The Duck Lady and I were both able to get rid of a lot of items we didn’t want and as an added bonus, I only had 1 box of stuff to drop off at the thrift store. Yee-Haw!
How about YOU? How are you coming along with your goals for this year?
~Mavis

You inspired me to take a King Arthur class and it was great! Don’t you love their baking classrooms? And it’s just an hour down the interstate for me. Plan on taking another on, perhaps March when I’m itching for spring weather. Looking forward to your craft-cation post. I also love to travel with my grown up daughter,
Mavis Butterfield says
I like that they have winter classes. It’s nice to be able to do something in the middle of winter. 🙂

I love how you keep yourself accountable with your goals on your blog. I have a list of goals because of you. But I just keep adding other things to the list and hardly ever git the original ones … love you blog

Jealous of the green thumb growing the beautiful flowers!

If you are buying a commercial Juki, you may think it is too fast. I did too, but learned to use it. If it is home machine, I have no idea, but Juki is great machine.

Thank you for featuring the ZwoodZ Etsy shop. I ordered the mushroom ornaments and a cute Merry Christmas garland.
