Last night I made a batch of cherry chocolate chip ice cream and used my favorite vanilla ice cream recipe as a base. Not only did I have ice cream for dessert, but I also had it for breakfast this morning as well.
I mean, it has fruit in it right? Plus milk and eggs, so that’s like totally healthy. Right?
C’mon, you know it is. Ice cream is the breakfast of champions!

A few years ago I received the KitchenAid Ice Cream Maker Attachmentas a gift, and I just love it to bits. I keep the freezer bowl in the freezer when it’s not in use, that way, we can whip up a batch of ice cream when ever we’re in the mood. You can find it on Amazon HERE.
Need Vanilla Beans? Amazon has them RIGHT HERE.

Where do you get whipping cream for a good price? We recently moved to the Seattle area and haven’t found it for under $1/cup…

Haha, what a co-inkydink. Alton Brown is making ice cream on his show “good eats” as I read your blog. He rocks! Homemade for sure!
