I went down to the village this morning to participate in the annual Turkey Trot. All the proceeds went to our local food bank, and I think I heard the announcer say over 2,000 people had signed up this year.
There were people in turkey hats, capes, aprons and a few of the natives even showed up.
I’m not exactly sure why the Super Heroes were there.
Or why on earth these guys hauled their stationary bikes down to the race and set up shop on the course. But we all had fun.
Even random racer guy who walk/jogged with me for about half the race {I totally ditched him at the water station though, because c’mon buddy, I’m no cougar}.
Anyway, I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. I hope you have plenty of food on your table, and some to spare for people who don’t. Peace out Pilgrims, have a wonderful day.
