Just a friendly reminder the Albertsons Gift Card Promo is still going on. You have until 11/29/12 to take advantage of this great offer. So if you plan on buying anything from Lowe’s, iTunes, Macy’s, Bass Pro Shops, AMC, Sears, Groupon, Kohls, Regal Cinemas, Chili’s, or Applebees you’ll receive a $20 Albertsons store coupon for every $100 in gift cards you purchase.
I was able to score free eggs, 3 packages of whole wheat rolls, 3 pounds of butter, frozen chicken, bananas and a bottle of root beer for a whopping $0.35 out of pocket with my $20 coupon I snagged last week.
With Thanksgiving behind us, be sure and keep an eye out for discounted bakery breads, desserts and meat.

Excellent work, though I am surprised that you needed chicken after your 30 lbs. of free chicken.

I had a $1.00 off frozen food coupon and couldn’t think of anything else frozen that I wanted to buy. Maybe I should have grabbed a pint of Haggen Daz instead. 🙂

I just figured out that Albertson’s and Shaw’s are owned by the same company (I think?) and when I went on the Shaw’s site they have the same gift card deal through the 29th. Out here in New England, we don’t have Albertson’s, but we definitely have Shaw’s. I’ll be buying some gift cards tomorrow and getting my $20 off!

I’ve used three so far and still have one left. I bought 15 cans of Fancy Feast and a bag of Iams dry cat food yesterday for .87 OOP.
I’m in need of some more gift cards, too, so I’m hoping for a good ad coming up to make the most of the $20 coupons. With no double coupons down here in So Cal lately Albertson’s hasn’t had many good deals.

(1) 2lb box of deli granolla

I think they may have the promo just before Christmas too. I can’t remember if it was repeated right before Christmas. Does anyone remember? Fred Meyer has Challenge butter coupons in the blinkie machine, but I haven’t found Challenge butter on sale yet. I used about 4# butter for Thanksgiving, but part of that was butter plates on the tables, so I still have some of that left.
