After a few quick math calculations last week I figure out I was $26.55 over budget for the year. If I want to stay on track with my goal of averaging $100 a month for all my food and groceries this year… I’ll need to stop spending so much money. Deal or no deal… I need to stay on top of things around here.
With that being said… I didn’t toss a whole bunch in the cart this week…
But here goes…
I found $1.00 off yogurt coupons in some sort of Healthy Food booklet at QFC… and lucky for me I spotted the yogurt at Safeway on clearance for .99 cents a tub…I simply used my $1.00 off coupons… and viola… FREE Yogurt!
Pretty cool if you ask me…
Albertsons FREE
2 bags of Easter Candy Albertsons $1.38
(The coupon is no longer valid)
Walmart $1.89
Overage… Overage… Overage…
The taco seasoning was .52 cents a packet… I used the .75 cents off coupons from the 4/10 RP and scored some serious overage ($13.11) I was also able to get .44 cents overage from the ketchup (internet coupon no longer available) and .51 cents overage from the Figaro Cheese Coupon. I simply applied the overage to the 3 dozen bagels, bananas, potatoes, broccoli, chocolate dipping sauce, apples and avocado.
Safeway $1.98
