If you invest in a nice pair of boots {or even a not so nice pair}, you really want them to last as long as possible. Keeping them upright will prevent that annoying little crease in the shaft of the boot from ever forming.
Plus, having them falling all haphazardly all over the closet floor really bugs me. I like them to all stand at attention, waiting to be worn–like orderly little soldiers. So, try this awesomely inexpensive tip to keep them from falling over by cutting a fun noodle {you know, the kind you get for the kiddos in the swimming pool} and sliding it into the shaft of the boot.
It will keep all of your boots upright, your closet tidy, and you feeling pretty smug about your cleverness.

I love those greenish boots on the left! What brand/style are they? Because I might need a pair.

They are Keen Boots.

My husband color coordinated the pool noodles a few years ago. My two girls and I each have our own color so if there are noodles lying around with no boot buddy then we can easily tell who the culprit is. Its usually me….

Another item to use in boots is the little air packets most everyone is using in shipping these days – especially Amazon. They will fit down into the foot of the shoe to keep it’s shape as well as support the shaft of boots. I also use them to stuff purses to help retain their shape when not being used. They are free and in abundance.

Great idea. I use 3-4 paper towel tubes in each boot. It drives me nuts too.

I also use old magazines, rolled up in the boot shaft. 🙂
