You know how I love me some BBC? Well, I found Endeavor on Amazon {and it’s free for prime members}, and thought I’d better check it out. It’s about a disillusioned police officer, who is about to let his career go when a murder mystery crosses his desk. It’s a Masterpiece Mystery, which means it should be done pretty darn well. I’m going to catch a few episodes and see what I think.
Let me know what you think if you decide to watch it–or if you have already seen it.
Peace out Girl Scouts & have yourself a great weekend, ~Mavis

A show you might like is Miss Fishers Murder Mysteries available through Netflix. It’s set in 1920s Melbourne , Australia. There are 2 seasons, each with 13 hour long episodes. I binged watched in 3 days. The plots are kooky and the costumes are fabulous and there is always. A twist at the end that I didn’t see coming.

It is an excellent Series. If u enjoyed the series Morse and then Lewis, you will enjoy Endeavor. It was interesting seeing how Morse developed as a young chap, in a time when policing was so different. It is still based around the Oxford areas. I hope you enjoy the series as much as I did. You might like to watch Lewis at a later time. It follows DI Lewis (Kevin Whately) in present day. It is great how the 3 series follow 50yrs of policing.

AMAZING series. My husband and I watched it several months ago and LOVED it. We liked that it was slowly paced but still riveting. There aren’t too many red herrings, which you often get in detective shows; you just find things out along with Morse and Thursday. Also, I love Thursday. The final episode of the second season will leave you (as it did us) hungry for more.
