Hocus Pocus is the perfect Halloween night movie! I know Bette Midler has done some great more serious work, but I think this is my favorite movie of hers. It’s so quirky and fun, I can’t get enough of it. It centers around 3 crazy witches that always leave me laughing.
Let me know what you think if you decide to watch itβor if you have already seen it.
Peace out Girl Scouts & have yourself a great weekend,
~Mavis

We love Hocus Pocus! We bring it out and watch it every Halloween and sometimes in between just cuz it’s good and funny. I’ve even dressed up as Bette Midler’s character for Halloween..

Ooh… Great idea! I think I’ll be watching that one tonight. The perfect Halloween movie!
We don’t have ‘Trick or Treaters’ here (yet… I’m sure it’ll be a thing in Australia soon enough) but I do like to honour All Hallows in some way. Tonight, it’ll be home made popcorn (with taco seasoning) and Hocus Pocus!

I’m watching it right now. For the third time this month. π

Didn’t watch this year. Watched “The Second Best Marigold Hitel”. It was okay. It’s hard to make sequels.

I watched it, too … so funny … my favorite Halloween movie. “Amuck, amuck, amuck …” π

My 2 besties from Vancouver,WA and I saw it the first year and always think we are these 3. I just love that movie and wish more towns decorated that much. I imagine your little town does wonderful decorations at every house like the movie. I found funky pointy shoes one year for us to wear with our gaudy garbs.

I feel like I should apologize (but won’t), but I’ve never liked that movie. I’ve only tried watching it twice. Maybe in my older age I’ll give it one more chance, or maybe not.
