Home for the Holidays is the perfect movie for your post Thanksgiving movie watching. This is an oldie but a goodie. If you haven’t watched it, I totally suggest you do. Holly Hunter is amazing in it as she faces a crazy amount of obstacles to get home for the holidays, and it’s directed by Jodie Foster so that’s a big bonus. Makes for one great movie. Plus I love how the dysfunctional family in this movie is perfectly scripted to seem totally functional.
Let me know what you think if you decide to watch it–or if you have already seen it.
Peace out Girl Scouts & have yourself a great weekend,
~Mavis

Haven’t seen it but a coworker a long time ago had the accompanying cookbook, which I make their version of tipsy pecan pie from. The recipes are based off the characters in the movie and it looks like a hoot. May see if it’s on netflix! Thanks for the recommendation!

Hi Mavis! Have you watched Cowspiracy on Netflix? If not, you totally should. It’s a mind blower.
