Tonight I am pulling out the Red Vines and watching Up in the Air with George Clooney. I should be able to leave it at that: George Clooney. But, if not, I’ll try to sell you on it a little more. Clooney’s character plays a professional down-sizer, who travels from company to company to perform his job. He values his frequent flyer miles over his personal connections…until…you guessed it, he meets a women who knocks his socks off.
Let me know what you think if you decide to watch it–or if you have already seen it.
Peace out Girl Scouts & have yourself a great weekend,
~Mavis

George Clooney is dreamy but I found his character and female counterpart in “Up In The Air” to be repulsive. I figured there would be some kind of redemption eventually (it is, after all, a movie!) but yikes! All the f-bombs! I guess I’ll never get used to that. And when the nudity appeared–maybe 15 minutes in?–it just got too skanky for me. So, we switched to “Serendipity” which was delightful. Loved Nicolas Cage, and the fairy-tale ending was just as it should be! 🙂

No, no. John Cusack. Loved John Cusack. (It was a very late night!)
