Your photos perfectly capture your heading of contentment, Mavis. I don’t know what to envy more: your spotless kitchen or your garden beds.

Mavis, I need you at our house!! lol. I have cleaned and purged and cleaned and purged, but I still feel like we are choking in this space with too much stuff. Your clean house pics are inspiring!

My contentment pictures would look considerably messier than yours because I thrive on controlled chaos. But that’s what it’s all about – find your own bliss. Glad you’ve found yours. It looks pretty fine.

I love this post! You have inspired me to look around and snap pics of what makes me content! Thanks!

awww, Lucy! So cute. What a great household. Stephanie is right, looks like you found your bliss. I am working on mine! Kind of hard when I am the only one “on board” though, lol.

I’m looking forward to contentment! We are a third complete on the renovation of the 1962 brick ranch we downsized into in January 2016. I’ve been living in renovation chaos since December 26!! It will be worth it in the end which I hope will be no later than mid-June. While work goes on inside the house I’ve been landscaping our yard and starting our veggie garden which has helped to keep me sane, lol.

Oh I envy your closet!! So organized; it looks great!

Your Lucy reminded me of the movie Milo and Otis. There was a scene where the dog a pug and a cat are egg sitting and the egg hatches. The chick thinks they are it’s parents. Pretty cute. 🙂

I love that Lucy gets in the coop with th chickens!! Our little dog, Harry, loves my son’s rabbits and routinely climbs in the hutch with his fav gal bunny. Every day he wants to go in and check on them. I’m working to a more streamlined household. I do like more visual stimulation but want less to keep clean and organized. So it’s a balancing act!! Love all the pics!!!

Beautiful pictures. Love the kitchen photo especially. My husband doesn’t understand why I want the counters clear – – – working on that goal 😀

It is TRUE—one picture really IS worth a thousand words!!! Your pictures are inspiring, and so are YOU. What you have inspired me to do this year: (1) make a goals list for 2017 (some crossed off as done, some in process, some left to do). (2) start paying down the mortgage with extra principal payments. And last but not least, your joy in your visit east has made me appreciate even more the Seacoast of NH. Be checking your post office box next week for more “what to see” when you come to NH in the future.

Our chicks are at about the same stage as yours, where did you get your portable coop? We have 2 Auracana, 1 Buff Orphington, 1 Red-Cross, 1 Black Sex-Link, 1 Rockingham Cross–hopefully all girls. Like Lucy, I am the chick watcher holding them every day, with my kids & their friends who also hold them–hopefully they will be tame. They do eat out of my hand and will peck at a spoon full of chick feed. I just love to listen to them “talk” to each other. Your post really sums up contentment for me.
