Oh, the Rhododendron, Mountain Laurel, we have so many around our home that I have named my house, Laurel House.

I think they can look nice if they are trained into tree form. However, I have seen quiet a few overgrown plants which look like they are trying to envelop houses!

TThe glass vase is a bulb display for forcing a,special bulb btw. Back here in PNW in feeling very nostalgic for my old small farm. At the border of Buckley it was far enough from the closest stores in Puyallup we stocked up and only went shopping once maybe twice a,month. We had dairy delivery and,butchered our own beef cows in freezers. I miss those days, the garden, 80 year.old spectacular full sized fruit trees, forest in the back and beautiful view of Mount Rainier. I miss the old farmhouse but it’s no longer there the Farmland is now replaced with shopping centers and a Costco right across the street. I can’t even begin to recognize the area anymore. So you are lucky and I certainly Envy you where you are at now. Best wishes.
