You need to try tecnu extreme it is the only thing that worked for us, we use the scrub to wash the area then the cream to put on. You can get it from Amazon, Walgreens, CVS. It is not cheap but it is effective, they have a spray and a soap bar also.
The first time I got it I looked like I had 3rd degree burns, for that I did go to the doctors, ever since then at the first sign or if I think i have been close to it, out comes the scrub to shower with, then the cream, then wash the clothes separate to any other clothes. I have never had it bad again and neither has my spouse.
Oh and send those spare orange day lilies my way (california) we have lots of land and hopefully the gophers won’t eat them.
