Sunny, the prints on your napkins are really beautiful! Are they regular cotton or are they thick like the kind at a restaurant? And your photographs show them off so beautifully – how do you make them look so professional? It’s like a magazine!
Mavis, maybe some day you could do an article on how to set up an etsy account. How to figure out pricing, set up pay pal, photographing your items, does the inventory automatically update or do you have to constantly monitor it, etc. Or is their an Etsy for Dummies book out there? I’d love to make some extra money for the college funds & wonder if I could come up with an idea that would be profitable. Your wonderful readers could give their best tips too!

Thanks Diane! We use high quality quilting cotton, so they are not restaurant grade but are still thick and very soft. I’m glad you like the photos – it took some trial and error for sure. My earlier pictures were really awful, I didn’t know much about photography and just kept trying to improve as much as I could. Now my camera and I are best buddies 🙂

Hi Mavis, I’m not sure if you know that Phiip Green is almost a bad word over here in the UK. He stole money from his business’ pension pot (he was eventually ‘persuaded’ to put some back in when he closed the stores he owned, leaving a lot of very disgruntled employees. Then more recently he was named as a person of interest in a sexual harrassment case here. Just sayin, thats all. x

Hi Mavis, my favorite “must have” at our Thanksgiving table is Sweet Potato casserole topped with a Praline Mustard Glaze. Mmmmmm. My mouth is watering as I write this! My family has very discerning taste…NOT!! Their pick is canned jellied cranberry sauce. I have to admit even though I make a real cranberry sauce, I always go for the canned stuff with my sweet potatoes.
