Pickin In My PJ’s

I headed out to the garden early this morning and one thing lead to another and around noon I realized that I was still in my pj’s, picking beans.

This afternoon I was able to preserve 10 1/2 pints of plum jam and 10 pints of beans. I ended up giving away 5lbs of beans to the neighbors. I had other pressing matters to attend to like a water slide party.

The pickling cucumbers need to be picked so next on the list for tomorrow is more dill pickles and this. I hope it works out and if it does, I will be looking forward to cucumber salad this winter.
