The HH made another batch of his delicious steak tips the other day and wanted to make sure I gave you the recipe. You know, because no matter the weather… snow, rain, sunshine, it’s always a good time to be grilling meat. 😉
If you love steak, you’ll love this recipe. If you love butter and garlic, you’ll REALLY love this recipe. Me? I just like the fact that I don’t have to cook and that the food magically appears around supper time. AND that there are usually leftovers as well.
This recipe for grilled steak tips with garlic butter rocks. I hope you love it as much as we do.
Have an awesome day everyone,
~Mavis
PrintGrilled Steak Tips with Garlic Butter
Ingredients
2 pounds sirloin steak cut into bite size pieces {about 1 1/2″ each}
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon pepper
5 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Fire up the grill!
Toss the steak tips along with the olive oil, salt and pepper together in a bowl and place directly on the pre-heated grill grates and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side. Increase or decrease cooking time as needed to reach ideal internal doneness {we like ours medium well so we tend to cook ours to about a 155 degree internal temperature}.
In a small skillet, melt the butter. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes to the butter and sauté for about a minute, or until the garlic begins to brown.
Pour the butter sauce over the warm steak tips and garnish with fresh parsley and serve.

I love that charcoal starter. I have had mine for 20 years.

Before my dh had his stroke, he would grill every – whether it was 90° or 19° Saturday and we would eat on whatever it was for two or three nights. I took that for granted and now that I have to cook every meal, l really miss it. Let the HH cook anytime he wants.
You know what’s weird? The older I get, the less I like beef. I could eat chicken and pork every day of the week, but beef maybe twice a month. Has anyone else had a change in taste?
Yma P says
Jennifer – yes to the change in taste. I used to love! pork but now I can eat 1-2 bites only.

We don’t have a grill at the house, but love to grill while camping. This will make the menu list, just as soon as the warmer weather permits us to tent camp again. I’ll try to include pictures at that time. Thanks Mavis, and your wonderful HH!

Thanks for sharing the recipe. I’m always on the lookout for something to do with the beef in my freezer.

Made this tonight and it was a huge hit! Tomorrow morning the leftovers will be used for steak and eggs! Maybe you should have the HH look into an Ooni pizza maker. Something new for him to make and learn to master.
