Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Apples Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 lb. brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved lengthwise
- 1 large apple {I used Fuji} cored, and sliced
- 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tea. sea salt
- 1/4 tea. fresh cracked pepper
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- 1 tbsp. pure maple syrup
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Mixing the Ingredients of Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Apples Recipe
In a bowl toss the brussels sprouts and apple slices with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place mixture on a lined baking sheet and bake for 20 – 25 minutes or until the brussels sprouts are tender and the sprouts and apples have slightly browned on the edges.
Remove the baking pan from the oven and place the brussels sprouts and apples in a large bowl. Toss with dried cranberries and maple syrup.
Serve warm.

Sounds like a great side for an Easter ham or pork dish, or a way to use up Easter ham leftovers. I bet adding some cubed ham to the sheet pan would keep it a one dish treasure. Thanks for sharing!

I make this with bacon and onion instead of cranberries and sometimes I add carrots. It’s a family favorite!
