I keep forgetting to tell you about Jameson Point Lobster in the town of Friendship, Maine! We first discovered this place back in May and have been stopping by for their delicious fish tacos every few weeks since.
We love the place so much, I even took Mrs. HB there when she was here for a visit.
There’s oodles of seating {inside and out} the menu is simple and the food is outstanding. The place is super clean and the staff is always welcoming and friendly.
And… they sell my favorite toasted coconut ice cream. So seriously, what’s not to love?
When we were there the other day for lunch, I overheard someone mention they used to come by with their grandparents back when the place was an old garage. Which totally makes sense now because of the bit of an automobile theme they’ve got going on inside and out.
And the old screen door. I LOVE IT!
Every time we go, the HH gets their onion rings. He says they’re the best he’s ever had.
Summers are kind of special around these parts because there are so many seasonal restaurants and shops here in Maine, that it sometimes feels like there’s this kind of mad rush to soak it all in and get your fill before everything closes down for the long winter.
So if you ever make it to Friendship, Maine be sure and put Jameson Point Lobster on your list. You won’t want to miss it {or their fish tacos and onion rings!}. 🙂
Have a good one,

Thanks for the suggestion. Think we will try it out today.
I’ve become a regular at Head Tide Oven. The lemon bars and sourdough baguette are excellent!

I just got back from another Maine trip and am sorry I didn’t read this in time–looks like a terrific spot!
I wanted to mention, there’s a great new ice cream shop in Edgecomb, Blanchard’s Creamery. Really really good ice cream and a cool barn storefront with outdoor and loft seating. We tried Coffee Oreo, Strawberry Shortcake, Blueberry Cobbler, Oatmeal Cookie, Grape-Nut (had to try it at least once), Cookie Dough, Strawberry Sorbet, Black Raspberry, and other flavors on way too many stop-ins.
My other Edgecomb ad is for its “Five Mile Yard Sale” on Cross Point Road on August 14.
