The new kitchen cabinets and floating shelves were installed while I was away! I couldn’t be more happier with the results. The white cabinets are exactly as I envisioned they’d be and I love the pulls and latches that have been added as well.
The AGA cooker is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow !! And the refrigerator and dishwasher are set to be installed at the end of the week. We should have counter tops in about 5-6 weeks and plumbing {sink/dishwasher} will come after that.
We’re hoping everything will be wrapped up before Thanksgiving! Yee-Haw.
I ordered some shelf liners over the weekend so once those get here I’ll work on cutting and fitting all of those and then start filling the shelves and cupboards.
The cabinet makers also made a custom spice rack that will fit on the inside of the right pantry door. They’ll be back to install the spice rack along with the wooden panels for the refrigerator and dishwasher just as soon as the appliances are in place.
Clean and simple. Light and bright. That’s what I was going for. So far so good.
Here’s to another productive day at Camp Butterfield. I hope you’re staying warm wherever you are. It’s a chilly 31 degrees here in Maine this morning. Yikes!

Very nice! Those cabinets look so solid. Nice choice on the hardware as well. I’m curious what kind of countertop material you decided on.

WOW! Just beautiful!!
Curious about the lead time on countertops- when we did our kitchen six years ago it was about 2 weeks from laser measuring until delivery and installation. Has the supply chain really gotten that much slower? Yikes!
Mavis Butterfield says
5-6 weeks! 🙁

Joanna says
God Bless ! They look awesome !

Looks like the cabinet company did a nice job on the inset doors. Those can be tricky to get right.
For me, I am tired if the white on white. It is clean but cold and antiseptic. I prefer the color of actual wood, say a natural walnut or a stained cherry with that floor.
I would have also suggested the pantry can be a little smaller so there was more space in that corner. Still an overall nice look.
