I was not able to log on yesterday to see your post about the AGA so this morning I was surprised and confused when todays agenda involved bringing in your old stove. whaaattt? So sorry!!!

We are huge college football fans, so we will watch GA play and probably some of the other games too. Dh fell yesterday – his biggest risk as a stroke victim – so we probably won’t leave the house and do our regular people watching. I’m pretty sure he only bruised some ribs, but when you’re already limited in mobility, it makes it tougher to rebound. The last time he fractured his arm on his weak side, so it could be worse.
I’m making a big pan of goulash since it’s cooling off. It’s the first time I have bought beef maybe this year. COVID has destroyed my taste buds and smell and with it so expensive, I just haven’t bought any. This will be more for dh and ds, but it’s sustenance nonetheless.

Happy Saturday! Out of Africa is one of my all-time favorites. I used to own the soundtrack on cassette. Beautiful movie and I think you’ll enjoy it.

Good morning Mavis! We just brought home an adorable rescue dog. I’m wondering what brand harness Lucy is wearing, as I need to purchase one and I’m sure you’re happy with hers.
Mavis Butterfield says
The harness is made by Ruffwear. We love it.

Curious and intrigued by the plug in at the back of your cupboard. Would love to know what it will be used for.

The microwave. 🙂

I am so sorry about your Aga but l hope you get a little comfort out of baking in your old oven.
We spent the morning selling rootbeer floats with our daughter’s
4-H club at a tractor pull. It was very loud and l was glad l had earplugs. My husband had to explain to me what was going on because l had NO idea. HaHa

I did a little thrifting before heading to the grocers where I snagged a deal on boneless chicken. There is no room in our deep freezer, so I spent the afternoon canning most of it. Experimenting with my new instant pot with the remainder of the meat was a big hit with my HH. I can’t believe it took me so long to get one.

What happened about your new stove..i missed that
