Cape Porpoise Kitchen

If you’re headed to the Kennebunks this summer and are looking for a great place for everything you could possibly imagine for a picnic {or take out} dinner… Put Cape Porpoise Kitchen on your must visit list.

Located at 1 Mills Road smack dab in the center of the quaint fishing village of Cape Porpoise, this place has it all!

Not only does Cape Porpoise Kitchen have high quality ready made meals, the kind you’d make in your own kitchen if you had the time, they also have a nice selection of frozen meals as well.

There’s even a wine and cheese section too! 

We recently stopped by to load up on a few of their amazing salads {beet salad, broccoli cashew salad, orzo salad and my personal favorite, their chicken and snap pea salad} for a picnic at the beach.

And as usual, everything was fantastic! We’ve visited several times over the years and the food is always spot on. They’ll even make you a London Fog if you ask.

I LOVE places like this.

These little independently owned and operated local eateries/shops are one of my favorite things about New England. Each one has their own personality and it’s always nice to see them supporting other local small New England businesses with a lot of the products they carry.

Want to stay a while and enjoy the scenery? They’ve got a few tables out front. As well as a few in the back with a view of the marsh.

Cape Porpoise Kitchen. It has my vote for best take out /prepared meals in the Kennebunks!
