Yesterday the HH and I did something we haven’t done in years… Mini Golf! And it was fun!!
We had driven past Raptor Falls Mini Golf in Arundel, Maine a few times before, but this time we decided to stop and check it out. I mean seriously, why not? Just because we’re old fogies doesn’t mean we mini golf, right? 😉
If you have wee ones, or are just looking for an hour of some simple family fun entertainment in southern Maine, Raptor Falls Mini Golf is the place to go!
The mini golf course could not have been nicer. Not only was it super clean and had a friendly staff, but the assortment of dinosaurs was pretty rad too. Seriously, if I had a 10 year old, this is totally where I’d be having their birthday party.
Fact: We did not keep score!
We got there right when it opened so we practically had the place to ourselves. By the time we left though the palace was starting to fill up.
The attention to detail between the holes was pretty spectacular and really well done. It was almost like going to a mini theme park but without the long lines and crazy ticket prices. We really did have a good time.
Raptor Falls Mini Golf in Arundel, Maine. Go check it out! They have plenty of picnic tables available so bring a lunch or treat yourself to an ice cream cone after a round of mini golf.
Summer in Maine. It’s not all about beaches and lobster shacks!

That place is adorable! I wish I lived closer. I know my grandchildren (and dinosaur loving SIL) would love it!

I love mini golf, it is always so fun. There are some really fun and unique courses out there. I wonder if their large exhibit dinosaurs have always been behind fences or if that is a sign of the modern protections some businesses have to do to protect themselves from people and their extreme selfies.

Sounds like such fun! Enjoy your “down” time (ha ha) – soon you will be busier than a cat in a room full of rocking chairs!

We went for mini golf on mother’s day. It was a great night out with family.

Our boys are 22 and 25 and anytime they get together, mini golf or putt putt as we call it, is on the list. They are very competitive and know who outscored who on which hole, who had the most holes in one, etc…

Haha, we always called it putt putt, too. I wonder if that term is generational or regional or just random? I grew up in NY.

Ah, the memories! We used to play mini golf when we were young. I can no longer walk the course but it was fun remembering.

That looks like so much fun! Back when my kids were little, there was a similar place right across the border in British Columbia. It was a Flinstones theme park complete with the dinosaurs, pedal cars and rowboats on a small canal. Very simply (not at all like modern day them parks) and we always had a blast when we’d go up there. Thanks for the memories – I had forgotten all about that place!
