Eat More Fruits and Vegetables

Lunch at the Wooden Buoy Factory yesterday was a bowl of steamed broccoli.

Visit 24 {new} Bakeries / Coffee Shops

While the HH and I were in Portland last week we stopped by Belleville bakery and holy cow man. While the selection was not huge, the pastries were excellent.

In fact, I had the best almond croissant of my life there. It was perfect. The croissant was insanely flakey, and the almond paste was smooth and creamy. I had to resist getting a second one. We’ll be back!

Spend More Time At The Beach

We didn’t make it to the beach this week… Too busy with factory work. And it’s been SUPER chilly. Hopefully once all the Christmas decorations are up Lucy and I can resume our walks on the beach. 

In the meantime… Check out this tree I spotted downtown! I thought it was a clever outdoor decoration. I might have to make a few of those next year.

 

Read or Listen to 24 Books {14 down, 10 to go}

I finsihed White House By The Sea by Kate Storey and gave it a 7/10.

Then I started Belgravia and WOW… it was SO GOOD. I wasn’t sure about it at the beginning as it was a little hard to follow with all the names, but I’m glad I kept listening. 

That Jullian Fellows, he sure knows how to tell a story. I might actually listen to it again. We’ll see.

Paint 

We’re still working on buoys!!! I’d say there are still about a dozen left to be painted. Then the HH will have to sand them a wee bit, then I’ll stain them and then we’ll put the ropes on them. Fingers crossed we can get it all done in time for the big reveal.

I finished big rug #5 last night!!! Chicken Stroll rug by Crow Creek Farm I think it turned out super cute.  Just one more big rug to hook before I can check this goal off my list. Normally I’d have more goals completed by now, but this year has been a super busy one.

Grow Baby Grow

So much for a Christmas amaryllis! And it was supposed to be pink!!! What happened? I guess this bulb had other plans. I think the other two I planted might be in bloom next week too. {Those look like they’ll be pink ones though}.

We still have two more donations to make to organizations in Maine before the end of the year. Hopefully we can make another one in the next week or two.

Go On An Adventure DONE

I went to England and had a jolly good time. And I can’t wait to go back!

In Stock and Ready to Ship by March 15th/ March 30th Now April 15th DONE!

I finally finished up all the major wool dyeing and pattern/kit making I had hoped too. All the “extra” wool is tucked away in bins so if I run out of wool in my Etsy shop I can whip up some more bundles in a jiffy. A summer off from dyeing wool… It’s going to be pretty rad.

Tidy Up / Clean Out / Purge DONE

We cleaned the whole house, inside and out. And then we sold it. Yee-Haw!
