2024 “Must Love” Giveaway Winners

A big giant THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to enter my “Must Love” giveaways this year.

The prizes for these giveaways were so much fun to put together and I hope that even if you didn’t win, you were able to scroll through some of the comments while entering and see what an awesome community we’ve built here on One Hundred Dollars a Month over the past 15+ years.

Chela commented: I would totally hide them in my quilting studio. I hide my sweet treats in a cute Christmas gift box, inside a cabinet, next to my cutting table. My kids would never think to look there.

Julie P commented: Magical Pearl is so beautiful. My garden doesn’t like them so I have pots! The book looks glorious and who doesn’t need new secateurs! All of mine are either missing a spring or something, hoping Santa heard!

I also have 4 that were small and blue that I bought at a grocer. I planted them and they are on they have grown 4 times their size so far.

J B commented: My favorite variety is Hydrangea Macrophylla “Charm”. The intense pink/red color is just stunning. Hydrangeas are one of my very favorite perennials.

Must Love Beans Giveaway Winners:

Linda Boyd commented: We grew black eyed peas when we moved down South from Vermont! Love them, but not all that shelling. We make a great ham & bean soup with 2 or 3 kinds of beans (but usually buy them in bags). Red kidneys, great northern & garbanzos are a favorite.

Trina commented: This is the best giveaway! I Love beans! I’m always trying to find new recipes I also grow scarlet runner beans every year- they make lovely teepee coving bamboo poles; my ducks love to hide in there to lay their eggs.

Laura Z commented: Red beans! It’s customary to eat them every Monday in Louisiana, where my dad was born. Never tried to grow them, though. What an amazing giveaway! Rancho Gordo has amazing beans!

Allison K commented: Well! One thing is clear, pie unites America, and leaves cake sitting in the road. For years my “birthday cake” has been coconut cream pie slathered with real whipped cream, HH loves strawberry rhubarb, and I love a warm german chocolate pie, But like others I’d eat any pie any day. Thanks for generating this wonderful response with your thoughtful gift.
