There is a cereal sale going on at Albertsons.
Would you like some free cereal?
Do you know anyone who would like some free cereal?
Would you like to donate some free cereal to your local food bank?
Well if you live in the Pacific Northwest and have an Albertsons nearby, here is how to pick up some free cereal.
Step 1: Put 6 boxes of “sale” cereal in your cart.
Step 2: When the lovely cashier who knows you by name smiles and asks if you have any coupons, hand over the 3 coupons that you clipped from the Sunday paper.
Step 3 Then hand her your double coupons.
Then hand her $3.54.
Then she will hand you back a “catalina coupon” for $4.00 off your next order.
Smile and say thank you. Put cereal in your car.
Then go back into the store and do it again. And again. And again. And again.
On your subsequent trips, you will want to use your $4 off coupon. But if you pay with the $4 coupon, the cashier will owe you .46 cents. And FYI, she will not give you money. So you will need a “filler item” like a .50 cent yogurt.
So now your total for the 6 boxes of cereal and 1 yogurt will be $4.04 cents.
Hand the cashier the $4 off coupon and .04 cents.
You just picked up 6 boxes of cereal and 1 yogurt for .04 cents!
And lucky you she will hand you yet another $4 catalina, which means you can do this deal over and over and over again until you run out of coupons or room in your car or until you end up in jail because they threw you out of the store and when the cops showed up they put you on a 72 hour hold in the psych ward for having 86 boxes of cereal in your possession.Can anyone say Holy Crap that’s a lot of free cereal?
