Week # 39 On One Hundred Dollars A Month

I cannot believe it is already October.  To me… This summer was pretty much a blur.  All I have left are a few baskets (or shirts) of tomatoes to pick, a wheelbarrow of pumpkins to gather, and a raised garden bed of potatoes to dig up.  Then, the official growing season (for Mavis) is over.

I need to sit down and draw out next years summer garden.  Then figure out a way to get all the needed seeds for free or little cost.  And then (and this is a biggie) I actually need to spend an enormous amount of time in the garden.  Growing food. Real food next summer.

But in the mean time… If you use wipes you can go HERE and print out a rebate for a FREE bottle. 😉  Here’s what you do: Go to the store.  Buy Wipes.  Mail in your receipt and UPC and then wait 8-12 weeks for a rebate check to arrive in mail.  It’s super easy.  But beware… you will have to shell out $.44 for a stamp.  I’ll go ahead and assume you get your envelopes for free.

Here is what I purchased this week:

Apples and caramel $3.29.  I need seriously need a Granny Smith Apple tree.  Really bad.

Double Coupon Sunday at Albertsons $13.54 after coupons & a gift card I earned on a previous transaction.  I plan on holding back the Tic Tacs & Gum and putting them in the kids stockings at Christmas.  Too bad the bologna needs to be refrigerated or I’d stick that in there too.

Shampoo & Conditioner $5.20 plus I received a $5 catalina coupon. I was pretty freakin excited about this deal.  Mostly because we were starting to dig into our free travel size bottles of shampoo & conditioner.  Not cool.  I was even considering paying FULL price for a bottle… until this deal came along.
And this one!  $1.15 (I used my $5 catalina coupon).  Looks like we will have clean hair for a looooong time! 😉
