I Picked a Pickle

My first cucumber of the season: a double yield pickling cucumber. I picked it and I ate it and it was good.

Trying to keep up with the strawberry runners. It’s getting kinda hard to walk around the raised garden bed without tripping.

The Hens are all laying now. I collected 4 eggs by 9:30 this morning. Pretty cool.

I also picked a 1/2lb of basil this morning. I was going to make pesto for the first time ever but found out I needed a food processor, which I don’t have. So I called the handsome husband and asked if I could use a blender instead. He said no and so against my better judgement I took his advise (not wanting to ruin the basil) and so now it’s in the dehydrator. I really wanted to make pesto.
