I’ve decided to try my hand at making some homemade lavender sachets. I’ve had an obsession with everything lavender ever since The Girl and I stopped by the Sequim Lavender Festival last year.}
These homemade sachets are basically the simplest things ever. And, I really like the idea of throwing them in my sock and underwear drawer…because people will totally believe that my feet and butt naturally smell of lavender. I’m just very delicate like that. Ha! If that isn’t for you, though, you could also use them in the dryer to infuse amazing lavender scent into your laundry or hang them in the shower to create a spa-like experience. The possibilities are endless I tell ya.
You’ll Need
Small Bag or Pouch {drawstring kind work best}
Dried Lavender flowers
Lavender essential oil {optional, but cranks the smell factor up a notch}
Directions
Strip your lavender buds off of the stem and into a bowl. Add several drops of essential oil {to your personal preferences}. Allow the mixture to marinate, then transfer the infused buds into the pouch.
Voila, instant lavender sachet.
