Every year, in my old neighborhood my neighbors would pass out small Christmas gifts. Sometimes, it was plate of cookies, other times a home canned something–it’s always a little token from their house to ours, and I love getting them.
I came home one afternoon to find a roll of Christmas wrap and tags on my porch. The gift was from my neighbor Jenn. It was such a cute idea that I snapped a picture to share.
If you want to try this gift idea this year, here’s what you will need:
Supplies
Roll of Wrapping Paper
Gift tags {homemade or store bought both work great}
Paper for the card
Ribbon
Hole Punch
Directions
Create a card with the following: “The best GIFT around the Christmas tree is the PRESENCE of family and friends all WRAPPED up in each other.”
Punch a hole in the top of the card and feed a piece of ribbon through the hole. Slide the gift tags onto the ribbon behind the card. Tie the ribbon with the gift tags and card around the wrapping paper. Done. Finito. Perfect gift.
I just love consumable/usable/practical gifts, don’t you?
