For some strange reason this year I’ve only picked one bouquet of daffodils. Is it strange that I’d rather look out my window and see clusters of yellow blossoms smiling back at me than have them sitting on my kitchen table? I can’t decide.

I love to gaze at daffodils in the garden, I find the scent overpowering if I cut them for inside. I have just been cleaning my vegetable garden from the last of the summer veggies and getting ready to plant for my winter crop. I have pickled the remainder of the cucumbers and now have green tomatoes in a brine for chutney. Have a great weekend, Best wishes Wendy

I do both with my flowers. I know they will last longer in the garden than they do in the house, so I do some of both.
Lately I have just been spending more time in the garden. That works really well. Then I am surrounded with flowers.
