Costco $12.16
Have you ever bought those camisoles from Costco? Aren’t they the best? Well I popped in the other day to pick up a pack and grabbed a few other essentials as well. π
Monkey Boy and I were in Target when he spotted Chef Boyardee Lasagna in a can for $0.54 each. Ummm, gross, but okay, I suppose I can fork over $2.16 if that’s what you really want. Ha! Maybe he thought since his beloved Doritos were not on sale that he had a better chance of getting lasagna in a can???
Omaha Steaks – FREE
Happy Birthday to the Handsome Husband! For as long as I can remember his parents have been sending him an Omaha Steaks care package for his birthday. Pretty sweet if you ask me. Last year The Girl didn’t even get 1 piece of the beef jerky because the boys ran off with it so quickly, so when she saw it in the box this year she quickly asked for a few pieces.
It’s the little things that make up happy, right? Beef jerky and canned lasagna. Yum. Yum.

I can still hear the clank of the glass bottles the milkman would put on out stoop, we stopped getting door delivery in the early 90’s π

I miss the glass milk bottles too.

So maybe now Monkey Boy can have his chocolate milk delivered?

That’s his dream!

Is that cottage cheese from Alpenrose Dairy in Portland? I remember taking my son to great events for children at Alpenrose Dairy. They sponsored local easter egg hunts and baseball events for little league.

I’m really confused how these items feed your family for a whole week. I know you garden too, but I think I’m in the majority in saying I would love to see a meal plan!

I buy things in bulk like rice, oats, meat, dried beans and those things really help stretch our grocery budget. I also do a lot of canning and freezing in the summer months too which lasts us up to entire year on some items. It’s easier than you think, it just takes a little getting used too.
