The poppies are in full bloom this week in our backyard and I think pink ones are my favorite. I love this time of year because everytime I look around there is something new in bloom.

Nice poppies! Ours are blooming right now too, but they really got clobbered by a couple of rainstorms in the past week. They’re looking pretty sad right now. But the lettuce is looking fantastic, at least!

So far I have red and pink poppies. I think I’ll try and plant orange poppy seeds this fall. 🙂
