It’s possible you’ll sense a theme with this month’s Favorite Things Giveaway. Thought it was fitting given all the 4-leaf clover, Kiss Me I’m Irish talk this month.  Ireland has been one of my very favorite places to travel, so it should come as no surprise that I love all things Irish. Even though not every item in this month’s giveaway has Irish roots, if you win this prize pack, I suspect you’ll be longing to board a plane to the Emerald Isle!

1. Waking Ned Devine – Irish humor is a lot like classic British humor, and you know I’m a sucker for a good British comedy. I can’t even count how many times The Girl and I have watched this movie, but we laugh every time. It’s awesome.

2. Bob’s Red Mill Irish Soda Bread Mix – If you are a rookie baker {or even a super experienced baker} and want to make some killer Irish Soda Bread, this is the mix to use. Holy cats it makes some good bread.

3. McCann’s Steel Cut Irish Oatmeal – What is Irish oatmeal you ask? Well it’s just another name for steel cut oats. I love Irish oatmeal because it’s a chewier oatmeal, and I like that better than a porridge-type like a Scottish oatmeal. Plus, Irish oats absorb the flavor of whatever you mix in it. So I’ll add peanut butter or bananas or even some jam. It’s great because it’s a super healthy meal, but it’s super tasty too.

4. Gaelic Storm Bring Yer Wellies – I was hooked on Gaelic Storm when I saw them live and they performed “Me & the Moon” {which is track 2 on this album}. It was amazing! I went right out and bought their album and haven’t stopped listening to it since. I think this album might make you an Irish music convert!

5. Garden Wisdom and Know-How – I love this book because it pretty much covers every aspect of gardening. It includes everything you need to know from soil and fertilizers, to growing flowers and vegetables. It’s a lot of info, but she uses a lot of examples and keeps it simple and easy to follow.

6. Set of 5 Natural Home Produce Bags – Since I’m always using reusable grocery bags at the store, it just makes sense to use reusable produce bags too! These come in 5 different handy sizes and can easily be tossed in the washing machine with your towels to clean. Now I don’t leave home without ’em.

7. Instant Irish Accent Gum – If ever there was the perfect White Elephant gift, this is it.

    I love reading your posts. As for this package, my favorite would definitely the steel cut Irish oatmeal. It’s a year round favorite for me. In the winter I love to mix in mashed bananas and walnuts, in the spring I like to add in dried cranberries and almonds, in the summer I love drizzling it with raw honey and in the fall I add roasted pecans.     Oh, gee, everything looks amazing. The Beautiful Edible Garden book so I can have more ammo to try to convince my DH, again, that our front yard lanscaping redo should be as edible as our backyard. Or the Barbara Kingsolver book which sounds AWESOME!

    Gaelic Storm for sure. I saw them once when visiting my friends in Madison, WI. Loved the songs Johnny Tarr and Beggarman especially. They were in the movie Titantic — didn’t know that at first. Even if I’m not the winner of the giveaway, I will print this post. My friends Judy and Peggy are huge fans of ALL things Irish. Well, to be fair Peggy IS Irish so it makes sense;) So I could put this lot — the Irishy stuff that is — in a basket as a gift for either of them. Thanks for the idea.
