Last weekend The Girl and I visited the quaint town of Bainbridge Island for the day. One of the stops we made was to Hayday Farm and it was absolutely lovely.
Heyday farm is a family owned 25 acre sustainable and historic farm located on Bainbridge Island. Not only is there the farm to admire but they also have a farm store {a few miles down the road} and several guest rooms to stay in {above the farmhouse as well as the annex above their farm store}. B&B prices for the farmhouse stays range from $200-$250 a night and include a full breakfast.
It’s just about the most dreamy place on earth too. I’ll let the pictures do the talking…
Being the beginning of May and all, the gardens were just starting to get going. The Girl and I will have to plan a trip back out there this summer when everything is in bloom and snap some more pictures. If life were a storybook… this would be my happy ending.
Seriously, the place is over the top gorgeous. I want to live there.
Gardening season… it’s here. Let’s get busy!

Looks so peaceful and beautiful. Do you know what that gorgeous white flowering plant might be? A rhodie?? The peas look so huge and healthy for so early in the growing season. So if you win the lottery will you buy something like that and stay in the area??
