Yesterday was cold and rainy and totally a day for lingering on the internet. I was still in my pj’s at 11 am when my husband walked into the room and asked if I was going to get dressed {and start my day!}.
“But if I wait a little longer I won’t have to get dressed… It will be time to put on a fresh pair of pjs and go to bed.”
Some days are like that. I mean, it gets to be a certain time and really, what’s the point?
We all deserve a lazy day in our pajamas {and snowsuit!!} now and then, right?
I love that snowsuit by the way. Whenever I’m cold, I just put it on and it warms me right up. A walking sleeping bag, that’s what it is. Joy. Pure joy.
There will be no walking sleeping bag today though… Sunshine and a high of 57 degrees is in the forecast for today!!
Hot dog! I better get outside and enjoy it before the rain comes again.
Here’s hoping you have a productive weekend {or not}.
Enjoy these last few days before we’re all in full on gardening mode while you can.
Peace Out,
~Mavis

Thanks for linking the snowsuit — I have the heavier original one in size Large (because I am taller than 5’5 but it’s a bit too bulky to wear inside the house — but when I clicked on the link I saw the newer lighter version that zips in half on sale for $99!!!!! Score. Now I have an inside the house, fall or spring version!

Thanks for sharing that link. I need to start a sinking fund for 3 of these for us because the heating bill has gone through the roof here in North Florida. Winters are getting colder but my pocketbook has not been growing so, walking sleeping bags indoors just might be the way to go. I see birthday presents for this fall.

At home we have hardly had a drop of rain for the three months we’ve been away. It’s all very worrying how much our climate where we live has changed in the last five years or so. I’m concerned how the garden will cope with my veggies this year but have a feeling that the minute we get home it will rain every day 😉 fingers crossed that it then doesn’t decide to rain all summer. Pyjama days are the best but very rare for me these days! Like you I fear missing out on the things I like to do outside. As I get older I just want to make the most of every minute.
