If only Lucy had thumbs every bag of chips or box of crackers would be open in the house and by the time we got to them, they’d all be gone. I swear that dog has super sonic hearing. She could be upstairs, under the covers and ASLEEP…. but if someone opened a bag of chips she’d be downstairs  and standing by ready to help

    You listed a Kindle book, _Merle’s Door_. It’s partly a story about a great adopted dog, and partly scientific facts about dogs and their history. Some of it was hard for me to get through, but it is a good read or audiobook for a dog-lover.

      I love, love, love this book! It is well worth a read for any dog lover. Very beautiful story about a relationship between a dog and his person. Wonderful!

    I love that a picture of Lucy starts my day! Today’s picture may be my favorite, how Cute! Of course, I say that alot because Miss Lucy is just adorable any way you look at it.

    I remember one time you wrote about making home made treats for Lucy and that she loved them. Any chance you have that recipe around and could share it?

    Oh Lucy….you make my day!
    with our dogs, it’s the cheese drawer in the fridge. if we open the fridge and rummage around for just anything, they are oblivious. but open that cheese drawer, and they are out of hibernation in a heartbeat! LOL!!!

    Lucy is soooo funny! What a personality!!! Merle’s Door is a good book, but prepare for the ugly cry. I sobbed.
