Here is a delicious collections of recipes for you to try this week. If you only make one thing.. make the pumpkin muffins. They rock!
3 Breakfast Ideas
Savory Crepes with Ham, Spinach and Egg – As hard as it is to give up not dousing a crepe in syrup, this savory version will make it a lot more bearable. {Pin it for Later}
Peanut Butter Banana Granola – This is a great way to use up an overly ripe banana. It’s tasty with milk, in yogurt, or by the handful. {Pin it for Later}
Pumpkin Muffins with Oatmeal Streusel Topping – Okay, I know it’s a little early to roll out the pumpkin recipes, but this is just a little taste…a preview, if you will. {Pin it for Later}
4 Lunch Ideas and Dinner Ideas
Mediterranean Tuna Wrap – Wraps are the easiest lunch ever. Plus, you feel like you are in a deli, without the stupid prices. {Pin it for Later}
Spaghetti Casserole Recipe – This is an old standby that never disappoints. {Pin it for Later}
Spinach and Basil Pesto Farfalle – I love this salad along side a simple grilled chicken or salmon. {Pin it for Later}
Lentil Soup with Spinach – The secret to this recipe is the bacon fat–not kidding. It cranks this soup up to an 11. {Pin it for Later}
Vegan Zucchini Bread with Chocolate Chips – This stuff tastes better than non-vegan varieties, and it’s perfect if you have someone in your family who can’t do eggs. {Pin it for Later}
Sweet Cherry Cobbler – Did you freeze any cherries this year? If so, try them out in this cobbler. Sooooo good. {Pin it for Later}
Almond Lemon Poppy Seed Biscotti – These are a perfect afternoon pick-me-up. {Pin it for Later}
Meatballs – I love freezer meatballs because they are so versatile. You can throw some bbq sauce on them and call it good, or spice them up with a little teriyaki sauce and rice. {Pin it for Later}
Applesauce – September is about the cheapest that you are going to find apples all year long, so make sure to make a big batch of applesauce to get you through. {Pin it for Later}

I LOVE cooking and baking and am going through withdrawl! NE Ohio has been experiencing warmer than normal temps.. which is nice.. warm enough to extend summer but breezy enough that we have turned off A/C. BUT when I cook it makes it HOT in my split level! So far no baked apple desserts! I am ready though!!!
