Chili Con Carne with Bacon and Beer – I love pulling out a bag of chili for the nights I don’t feel like cooking. The boys love this stuff too, which means sometimes they are begging me not to cook…wait a minute, that doesn’t sound right?! {Pin it for Later}

Meyer Lemon Ginger Marmalade – I love everything Meyer lemon, and this recipe is no exception. The ginger lemon combo is divine. {Pin it for Later}

I’ve been busy in the kitchen today…
a pot of bean soup for dinner (love those left over ham bones from Christmas),
pressure canned 18 pints of dried beans for easy dinners down the road,
pulled out some fruit from the freezer and made a blackberry fig jam that turned out delicious,
tried 2 different canned tomatillo green salsa/sauce recipes (I actually love the Taco Bell green sauce, but hate looking at their ingredient list).

I made tomato bacon jam over the holidays. Was told it was to die for, no idea if it was good or not as I didn’t taste as I was making it.
