With the sunny skies and temps in the upper 50’s all week I can’t imagine I’ll be spending too much time in the kitchen, but hey, that doesn’t mean I can’t share a few of my favorite recipes…
Happy cooking Y’all!
3 Breakfast Ideas
Cashew Almond Bars – I love Kind bars, but at least a $130 per bar, they lose their appeal pretty darn quick. These are just as good, and cost waaaay less. Plus, you can usually get rushed teenagers to grab one on their way out of the door. {Pin it for Later}
Farmers Breakfast Skillet with Sausage and Eggs – Since I’ve been shopping at Costco, eggs have become more of a breakfast staple around our house. There a like a million mix-ins you can add to eggs too, which keeps things fresh. {Pin it for Later}
Bacon Pancakes – I have personally never met a recipe with bacon that I don’t like. Bacon IN pancakes with syrup is truly heaven on a plate. {Pin it for Later}
4 Lunch Ideas and Dinner Ideas
Feta Cheese and Cucumber Mediterranean Tuna Wrap – Most of us have at least one can of tuna hiding in the back of our pantry. This wrap is packed full of flavor and protein–and it tastes like you splurged on a fancy deli meal. {Pin it for Later}
Spicy Thai Chicken Kabobs – With the weather warming up {Holy 60 degrees!}, I am thinking about firing up the BBQ, just because I can. The best part is that as long as you have chicken in your freezer, you probably have everything you need in your pantry to make these tender kabobs. {Pin it for Later}
Cast Iron Skillet Chicken Pot Pie – I love this meal because it calls for frozen veggies…which makes it super cost effective. Oh, and it goes without saying, I hope that it is delish! {Pin it for Later}
Copy Cat Panera Black Bean Soup – A week without soup is a week I don’t want to be part of. {Pin it for Later}
3 Sweet Treats
Chocolate Heart Peanut Butter Cookies – Okay, so I know Valentine’s Day has come and gone, but now is the time to score heart shaped chocolates cheap. Trust me, your family will not mind that you are a day late and a dollar richer. {Pin it for Later}
Cranberry Pistachio Cornmeal Biscotti – These are literally an awesome afternoon over-the-hump sort of snack. I personally like to dip them in tea, but I suppose you don’t have to if you don’t want to. {Pin it for Later}
Triple Berry Cornmeal Cake – I’ll admit, this recipe is slightly better with fresh berries, BUT if you happen to have some frozen in your freezer and need to make room for the upcoming season, I seriously doubt your taste buds will mind. {Pin it for Later}
Sloppy Joes – These are a HUGE hit with the 18 and under crowd, and you know what? I kind of enjoy them too. {Pin it for Later}
Easy Refrigerator Pickles – If you are running low on your pickle stock, this recipe is awesome, because once you’ve assembled the jars, all you have to do is throw them in the fridge. You could totally cut the recipe and just make a jar at a time too. {Pin it for Later}
What are YOU planning on making this week?
