first & foremost, I adore the day I found your blog. regarding cutting you lettuce at the base; We have always cut (not pulled) our lettuce 1″ above the base. This way, you’ll get a 2nd, and even a 3rd head, although the subsequent heads won’t be quite as full as the first.
ALSO, I dearly love radishes and celery; any tips on obtaining the longest possible storage for them so I can extend the season of enjoyment?
