Want to know what is even better than getting the gift of chocolate? Getting it in a creatively packaged candy cane sleigh, of course. These make the perfect gift for kids to give their friends…or you to give your neighbors…or to hand out to the family right before you settle down to watch your favorite Christmas movie. Best of all, you can whip these out in mass quantities really quickly–so you don’t have to give up your entire weekend to spread a little Christmas cheer.
You’ll Need:
- 10 miniature candy bars for each sleigh {more if you’re like me and need to eat while you work}
- 2 candy canes
- 1 full size KitKat
- Glue or double sided tape {I highly recommend the second one}
- Ribbon
Directions:
Lay the KitKat face down on the table. On each edge of the candy bar, tape or glue the candy canes.
Flip that bad boy over and glue or tape down 4 of the miniature candy bars on top of the KitKat bar.
Glue or tape 3 more miniature candy bars on top of the 4 you just laid. We are creating a pyramid situation here. Dig deep back to your cheer-leading days if you need to.
Now two more candy bars on top of those. Are you starting to see a pattern here?
Glue your last remaining miniature candy bar on top of the two you just laid down. {Whoa, bet you didn’t see that step coming, eh? ;)}
Tie that cute little bundle of sugar up with a bow–because afterall, presentation is everything.
You’re all set–hand your creations out with reckless abandon.
Happy Holidays,
Mavis
**I posted these last year, but they were such a hit, I thought I’d throw the how-to at you one more time.

This is more of a random observation: The search function on your site isn’t working. I was going to look up your delicious carrot cake jam recipe, but it is proving harder than I thought.

Kayla–I’m sorry about that. My tech lady is working on it. For now, go to the recipes tab at the top of the site. Once you have clicked on it, a different search bar with pop up right above the recipes. Type in the carrot cake jam there and it will pop up.
