About this time of year, the invitations for Christmas parties start rolling in. I remember when it seemed like my kids’ classroom parties lasted the better part of the month of December. If you are pressed for time this holiday season and looking for a way out of sending baked goods to the kids’ school parties, try quickly whipping these little Root Beer Reindeer up. They travel to school easily with the kiddos, and honestly, they’ll love them? They also make a fun little neighbor gift, if you are looking for something besides your standard cookie plate.
You’ll Need:
- Bottled root beer
- Ribbon
- Small red pompoms
- Brown pipe cleaner
- Googly eyes
- Glue
Directions:
Start by gluing the googly eyes and the red pompom nose onto the neck of the bottles.
Next, tie some ribbon about an inch below the “nose.” Afterall, these are classy reindeer we are going for here.
Finally, center your pipe cleaner on the center of the cap of the root beer. Twist is around the back of the cap to secure it. Then, form your antlers. Stick them back into their carrying case and gift away.
Happy Holidays,
Mavis
**You may have seen this tutorial last year, but I wanted to post it again for any One Hundred Dollar a Month newbies.

That giant mutant ginger is hilarious! My husband would have come back with a commercial sized container of ground ginger or pickled ginger and a 48 pack of toilet paper. He means well but seems to think buying in bulk is always a good idea and he isn’t a cook. 🙂

Totally put this on the wrong post, Mavis. Feel free to get rid of it. Sorry to make more work for ya!
