Easy Crock Pot Recipes – French Onion Soup

3 large onions, sliced very thin
3 tablespoons melted butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 cans {14 1/2 ounces each} beef broth


Instructions

  1. Saute onions and butter of medium high heat until translucent and and slightly caramelized and set aside.
  2. Mix together the flour, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, pepper and pour into the crock pot.
  3. Add onions and stir.
  4. Turn the crock pot on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours and cook.
  5. Serve with garlic bread or cheesy toast.
