3 large onions, sliced very thin
3 tablespoons melted butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 cans {14 1/2 ounces each} beef broth
Instructions
- Saute onions and butter of medium high heat until translucent and and slightly caramelized and set aside.
- Mix together the flour, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, pepper and pour into the crock pot.
- Add onions and stir.
- Turn the crock pot on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours and cook.
- Serve with garlic bread or cheesy toast.
