Ingredients

- 1 pound dried white beans
- 10 slices bacon (, chopped)
- 1 medium onion (, chopped)
- 1/3 cup molasses
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
- 3 cups water
Instructions
- Soak beans in a large pot overnight in about 6 cups of water.
- In the morning drain the beans, rinse and place the beans in a crock pot. Add the rest of the ingredients, stir and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beans have softened and the liquid has been mostly absorbed. Add more water if needed.
