1 standard brownie mix {I used Pillsbury}
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 large egg yolk
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare the brownie mix according to the package directions.
- Pour into a lined 9- inch square pan and set aside.
- Using a mixer, whip combine the cheesecake mixture until creamy and smooth.
- Drop spoonfuls of cheesecake mixture {2 tablespoons at a time} over the brownie mixture in a pretty pattern {if you have OCD like me}.
- Then, using a butter knife bring out your inner artist and gently swirl the cream cheese on top of the brownie mixture.
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 35-40 minutes, or until done.
- Cool for about 30 minutes and then serve with a big, fat, scoop of vanilla ice cream.
- Then promptly adjust your belt.
