Word of the Day: Mitigate Definition: To moderate, soften, excuse, lessen Used in a sentence: In this instance the facts would mitigate the circumstances.
Hello Sunday. 🙂
I was planning on putting together a rug hooking post yesterday but got a little sidetracked. I should have it up a littler later this morning though for those of you interested. It looks like it is going to be another wet and windy day today so I think instead of gardening, I’ll head over to the Home Depot and see any new plants have arrived. Some people love clothing… I love plants. ha!
Have a great day,
♥ Mavis

I was disappointed with Shari’s berries. They were not fresh and I found out after reading the ingredient list that rather than using real chocolate they use a “chocolate flavored coating”. If I’m going to pay that much for chocolate dipped strawberries I expect it to be real chocolate. They cost a bit more but http://www.ccberries.com has a much fresher product and they use real chocolate.

You girl, are an instigator, but in a good way. I’ve been pinching pennies since the 60’s, and most of what you have to share I already knew. That being said you have shown this old dog a new trick or two. I will take a few pictures of my pantry and send them your way. Keep up the fight with that HOA.
