I’m going to the “One Picture Saves a Life” workshop in San Diego.
I’m thinking of volunteering ( taking better pictures of shelter pets to help them get adopted ).
You like taking pictures of things…and you are a good dog photographer…
Maybe with The Girl Who Thinks She is a Bird going off to college,
you will have some spare time to fill.
If you are interested, you can watch out for when they have a workshop near you.

I am going to a bee hive splitting class tomorrow while my HH is starting to put together our chicken coop, which I will help with when I get home from class. Our neighbors are moving, and she is giving me their 18 chickens. Yea, can’t wait for the girls to come live with us. Have a great weekend!

Wow Robin, it sounds like you have a busy weekend. Bees and chickens… what fun. 🙂 🙂 🙂

Mavis, I just finished an extraordinary book titled Seasons on Henry’s Farm, by Terra Brockman. With your avid interest in gardening and food production, it is something I believe you would find interesting. I hope you can post a comment if you get a chance to read it – let us know your opinion. I hope your weather has finally dried up some, but it would be nice if you could share your rain with some of us others around the country.
Mavis Butterfield says
Thanks Judy, it’s on my list! 🙂
