My kids LOVED the A Series of Unfortunate Events books, so when I saw Netflix was doing a series, I was so excited! The Girl and I have decided to binge watch season 1. It has a 5 star review and I’m thinking this would be a good one for the whole family.
Have you seen it? What did you think? Did you read the books?
Peace out Girl Scouts & have yourself a great weekend,

We watched an episode and it didn’t capture us. Tonight we are watching Mr.Church on Amazon Prime and we are really enjoying it.

I had the release date on the calendar for months and binge watched the entire season in that first weekend. That says a lot coming from someone that really doesn’t watch much of anything. Season 2 and 3 can’t come soon enough! Loved this !

My 12 year old son binge watched season 1 and pronounced it “very good.”

Yep – we just finished binging on this and really got a kick out of it…the deadpan explanations from “Lemony Snickett” cracked us up at times. It was hard at first not to compare it to the movie – but it really took on a good life of its own.
Really looking forward to the next seasons!

We started to watch it but my husband fell asleep through two different nights on it. We haven’t read the books.

We watched the whole first season and enjoyed it. I read the books and my husband hasn’t. My husband really enjoyed the commentary of the narrator and now wants to read the books. That is pretty high praise for any series.

We watched it as a family (kids ages 7-17), and we all enjoyed it very much. I haven’t read the books, but I felt it was extremely well-done.
